Step 4: add sides and front of diy scrap wood cart next, i cut a piece of 3/4″ plywood 18″ wide x 72″ long and drilled 3/4″ pocket hole screws along one long end. i attached using 1 1/4″ pocket hole screws to the front of the scrap side of the cart like shown.. This lumber cart solves much of my storage problems, and after building it i discovered that it holds a lot more wood than my old rack and takes up less space. plans. pdf file; sketchup file ***** update: thanks fabian v. valinskas for drawing out a cutting diagram!. 
woodworking plans lumber cart I saw a lot of pictures of lumber carts all over the interwebs, so compiled a bunch of those ideas together and figured out the size based on my workspace and the materials i had on hand at the time. the dimensions i ended up with is 5' wide, 3' high and 20" deep.. Excellent lumber cart - i’m still new to the woodworking game. this build took me a week and a half to build. the plans are detailed however; i would have liked caster sugges… see full review - lanasimm. january 13, 2020. great addition to my shop - this thing is a beast but holds a ton of lumber. plan and instructions were excellent..
